MICE Analysis on the Supporters of Duterte

The MICE Analysis doesn’t need much introduction. In short, it is a CIA-style analysis that examines Money, Ideology, Coercion, and Ego—factors that influence individuals or groups to align with certain agendas. This method is commonly used by the CIA for intelligence assessments.        With the recent arrest of former Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte , the situation has been chaotic, to say the least. His supporters—whether paid bots, useful idiots, or true fanatics—have flooded Facebook with relentless false narratives and propaganda.        This is not a political attack aimed at his supporters but rather a deep dive into their thought processes. At times, their behavior resembles that of a swarm of bees, fanatically devoted to their queen—Rodrigo Duterte.        If you take a closer look at a typical die-hard Duterte (DU30) supporter, you might assume that most of them are uneducated, simplistic, o...

How I Possibly Found Two Skirmishes in the Myanmar Civil War: The MRTV (Myanmar Radio and Television) Battle and the KIA Attack on the SAC in Bhamo

Image
The Myanmar civil war is already confusing on its own, making it difficult to figure out who is fighting whom and where these skirmishes took place. For one, the dense jungle is already hard enough for fighters on both sides to navigate. Additionally, the Burmese language—unlike English—is difficult to understand. Anyway, I managed to find two separate locations where skirmishes possibly happened. KIA attack on the SAC in Bhamo      According to many sources , this attack occurred within Bhamo Airport, which is somewhat accurate. While it is true that the attack happened, the part about it being at an airport is somewhat incorrect. The attack took place on January 26, 2025, in the Bhamo region, accompanied by this picture .      Known picture of the attack             If you zoom into the picture, it appears to be a gas station (the one highlighted in green), with even more clues suggesting that it is ...

Military Contractors in the Philippines: What Will the Effects Be on the ARMM (Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao)?

Image
(Filipino Civilian from the ARMM region posing a selfie with an American Contractor)        After an incident involving a U.S. military contractor in the Maguindanao province of the ARMM region in the Philippines, tensions quickly escalated on social media, especially on Facebook. People from those areas voiced their distrust of the government's decision to use contractors.        What many people don’t know is that prior to the crash, there was an ambush on a Philippine military outpost that was conducting humanitarian work located in Basilan. The contractors' main objectives before the crash were limited to intelligence gathering and reconnaissance for the Philippine military. It is possible—though just a theory—that they were also tasked with hunting down those responsible for the attack on the outpost.      Certain regions of the Philippines, especially in the southern parts of Mindanao, remain volatile. While violence has bee...

The Chinese Telco in the Philippines before DITO

Image
When people in the Philippines talk about DITO, what comes to mind? Is it a threat to national security or just a low-cost communications provider offering cheaper data plans than other Philippine telecom companies? No matter what we say about DITO, anything connected to networking these days isn’t completely safe to begin with. Moreover, it is blatantly obvious that DITO is backed by a Chinese investor.      To begin this story, let’s go back to when China experienced its economic boom from the 1990s to the 2000s. During this period, it launched its ' Go Out Policy ,' which encouraged Chinese companies to invest abroad, particularly in the energy and telecommunications sectors.      At that time, then-President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo of the Philippines was enticed by a Chinese company called ZTE Corporation (Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment Corporation) , which was co-owned by the Chinese government. ZTE, like DITO, has had its ...

China's Infustructures and Bases

Image
Since then, China has become more hostile than ever, which is worrisome for countries that seek only peace. However, due to China's increasing hostilities, one can only speculate when the "Goliath of Asia" might finally snap. With the use of satellite images, these locations can be considered strategic sites powering the great red dragon. (Note: This blog will hopefully be updated frequently.)
